Fusidac B Cream (10Gm) Fusidic Acid 0.2%,Beclomethasone 0.10% by Elder

What is it used for?
This cream is used for bacterial skin infections that are accompanied by redness, swelling, itching or inflammation, including infected eczema or dermatitis.

How does it work?
Fusidic acid is an antibiotic that stops the growth of susceptible bacteria. Beclomethasone is a corticosteroid that reduces skin inflammation, redness and itching.

How to take/use it
Apply a thin layer to the affected skin exactly as directed by the doctor or pharmacist. Wash hands before and after use, unless treating the hands. Avoid covering the area tightly unless advised. For external use only.

Common side effects
Mild burning, stinging, itching, irritation, dryness or redness at the application site. Prolonged or repeated use may cause skin thinning or stretch marks.

Precautions
Avoid contact with the eyes, mouth and inside of the nose. Do not use on fungal or viral skin infections unless specifically prescribed. Avoid prolonged, repeated or excessive use, especially on the face, groin, skin folds or large areas, because the steroid may cause skin damage or other unwanted effects. Seek medical advice if the infection worsens or does not improve as expected.
