What is it used for?
Used mainly to relieve nerve pain, such as burning, tingling or shooting pain caused by irritated or damaged nerves. It may also be prescribed for certain seizure disorders.

How does it work?
Gabapentin reduces abnormal nerve signals involved in pain and seizures. Mecobalamin is a form of vitamin B12 that supports normal nerve function and repair.

How to take/use it
Take only as prescribed by the doctor. It may be taken with or without food. Swallow with water and do not stop suddenly without medical advice.

Common side effects
Drowsiness, dizziness, tiredness, unsteadiness, blurred vision, nausea and swelling of the legs or feet.

Precautions
Avoid driving or operating machinery until the effect is known. Avoid alcohol, as it may increase drowsiness. Tell the doctor about kidney problems, breathing problems, pregnancy or breastfeeding, and use of opioid painkillers or other medicines that cause sleepiness. Seek medical help for severe breathing difficulty, facial swelling or a serious skin rash.
