What is it used for?
This medicine is used to relieve neuropathic (nerve-related) pain, such as burning, tingling, numbness or shooting pain caused by irritated or damaged nerves.

How does it work?
Gabapentin reduces abnormal pain signals in the nerves. Methylcobalamin, a form of vitamin B12, supports normal nerve function.

How to take/use it
Take it exactly as prescribed, with or without food. Swallow the tablet/capsule whole with water. Do not stop gabapentin suddenly without medical advice.

Common side effects
Sleepiness, dizziness, tiredness, blurred or double vision, swelling of the hands or feet, nausea and dry mouth.

Precautions
It may cause sleepiness or dizziness; avoid driving and alcohol until its effects are known. Dose adjustment may be needed in kidney problems. Inform the doctor about pregnancy, breastfeeding, breathing problems, or use of opioids or other medicines that cause drowsiness. Seek medical help for severe breathing difficulty, facial swelling, or serious mood changes.
