Description:

Gatizen Eye Drops contain Gatifloxacin 0.3% w/v, a broad-spectrum fluoroquinolone antibiotic used to treat bacterial infections of the eye.
It works by inhibiting bacterial DNA gyrase and topoisomerase IV, essential enzymes for bacterial replication, transcription, and repair — thereby preventing the spread of infection.

Warnings & Precautions:

For ophthalmic use only — not for injection or oral use.

Discontinue if allergic reactions such as rash, itching, or swelling occur.

Prolonged use may lead to fungal or secondary bacterial infections.

Contact lens wearers should remove lenses before use and wait at least 15 minutes before reinsertion.

Use with caution in children <1 year unless prescribed by a doctor.

Adverse Effects:

Common: Eye irritation, burning or stinging, redness, dry eyes.

Occasional: Blurred vision, itching, watery eyes.

Rare: Hypersensitivity reactions, eyelid edema.
