Hydrocortisone 100 mg per vial

Description:

HYDROLINK 100 MG Injection contains Hydrocortisone, a corticosteroid used for the management of severe allergic reactions, adrenal insufficiency, asthma exacerbations, shock, and various inflammatory conditions. It works by reducing inflammation, suppressing the immune response, and replacing deficient cortisol levels in the body.

Precautions:

This injection should be used only under medical supervision. Caution is advised in patients with diabetes, hypertension, peptic ulcers, infections, kidney or liver disorders, or osteoporosis. Long-term use should be carefully monitored to avoid adrenal suppression. It should be used during pregnancy or breastfeeding only if clearly prescribed. Patients should inform their doctor about any ongoing medications to avoid interactions, especially with NSAIDs, anticoagulants, antidiabetics, or antifungals.

Adverse Effects:

Possible side effects include increased blood sugar, mood changes, fluid retention, elevated blood pressure, stomach discomfort, or redness at the injection site. High doses or prolonged use may cause weight gain, weakened immunity, osteoporosis, or adrenal suppression.

Storage:

Store below 25°C, protected from light and moisture. Keep out of reach of children. Use the reconstituted solution immediately and do not use after the expiry date.
