Description:

HYDROLINK 200 MG Injection contains Hydrocortisone, a corticosteroid used to manage severe allergic reactions, adrenal crisis, shock, acute asthma attacks, and other serious inflammatory or immune-related conditions. It works by reducing inflammation, suppressing the immune response, and restoring corticosteroid levels in patients with adrenal insufficiency.

Precautions:

This injection should be administered only under medical supervision. Caution is advised in patients with diabetes, hypertension, gastrointestinal ulcers, active infections, liver or kidney problems, thyroid disorders, or osteoporosis. Long-term or high-dose use may require monitoring for adrenal suppression and metabolic imbalances. Use during pregnancy or breastfeeding should be based on a physician’s recommendation. Patients must inform their doctor about all medications being taken to avoid interactions, particularly with anticoagulants, antidiabetics, NSAIDs, or antifungal drugs.

Adverse Effects:

Possible side effects include elevated blood sugar levels, mood or behavioral changes, fluid retention, increased blood pressure, stomach upset, and local injection site reactions. Prolonged use may lead to weight gain, weakened immunity, muscle weakness, bone loss, or adrenal suppression.

Storage:

Store below 25°C, protected from light and moisture. Keep out of reach of children. Use the reconstituted solution immediately and do not use after the expiry date.
