What is it used for?
This combination is used for short-term relief of pain, swelling and stiffness associated with painful muscle spasms and other musculoskeletal conditions, such as back or neck pain. It helps relieve both inflammation-related pain and muscle spasm.

How does it work?
Etoricoxib reduces the production of substances that cause pain and inflammation. Thiocolchicoside acts as a muscle relaxant to help reduce painful muscle stiffness and spasm.

How to take/use it
Take it only as prescribed by the doctor. Swallow the tablet whole with water and do not take more than the recommended amount or use it for longer than advised. Do not take other anti-inflammatory pain medicines with it unless advised by a doctor.

Common side effects
Indigestion, stomach pain, nausea, diarrhoea, headache, dizziness, swelling of the feet or legs, and increased blood pressure may occur.

Precautions
Tell the doctor if there is a history of stomach ulcer or bleeding, heart disease, high blood pressure, stroke, kidney or liver disease, seizures, or allergy to painkillers. Avoid use during pregnancy and breastfeeding unless specifically prescribed; thiocolchicoside may harm the developing baby. Seek medical help for chest pain, breathing difficulty, severe skin rash, black stools, vomiting blood, or severe abdominal pain.
