What is it used for?
Used to relieve pain and inflammation, especially pain related to muscles, joints and arthritis.

How does it work?
Etoricoxib reduces the production of substances that cause pain and inflammation. Paracetamol helps reduce pain and fever.

How to take/use it
Take only as prescribed by the doctor, with water. Do not take more than the recommended dose or use it for longer than advised. Avoid taking other medicines containing paracetamol or other anti-inflammatory painkillers unless advised by a doctor.

Common side effects
Indigestion, stomach pain, nausea, diarrhoea, headache, dizziness, swelling of the legs or feet, and increased blood pressure.

Precautions
Tell the doctor about heart disease, high blood pressure, stomach ulcers or bleeding, kidney or liver problems, or an allergy to painkillers. It may increase the risk of heart attack or stroke, especially with long-term use or in people with cardiovascular risk factors. Seek medical help for chest pain, breathing difficulty, black stools, severe stomach pain, facial swelling or a serious skin rash. Avoid alcohol and check with a doctor before use during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
