What is it used for?
Used on the skin for certain mixed skin infections involving fungi and bacteria, along with redness, itching or inflammation. It should be used only when prescribed, as the clobetasol component is a strong steroid.

How does it work?
Ofloxacin and ornidazole act against certain bacteria and other microorganisms, while itraconazole acts against fungi. Clobetasol reduces inflammation, redness and itching.

How to take/use it
For external use only. Apply a thin layer to the affected skin exactly as prescribed. Wash and dry the area before use and wash hands after applying, unless the hands are being treated. Do not use more often or for longer than directed.

Common side effects
Mild burning, stinging, itching, redness, dryness or irritation at the application site. Prolonged or inappropriate use may cause skin thinning or changes in skin colour.

Precautions
Avoid contact with the eyes, mouth and inside of the nose. Do not apply to the face, groin, broken skin or under bandages unless specifically advised by a doctor. Do not use for ordinary rashes or suspected fungal infections without medical advice, as the steroid may worsen or mask some infections. Stop using it and seek medical help for severe irritation, swelling or an allergic reaction.
