What is it used for?
Used on the skin for fungal skin infections with redness, itching and inflammation, especially when a bacterial infection may also be present. It should be used only when recommended by a doctor or pharmacist.

How does it work?
Miconazole treats fungal growth, while neomycin and chlorhexidine act against bacteria. Clobetasol is a strong steroid that reduces redness, swelling and itching.

How to take/use it
For external use only. Apply a thin layer to the affected skin exactly as directed by the doctor or pharmacist. Wash hands before and after applying it, unless the hands are being treated. Avoid contact with the eyes, mouth and inside of the nose. Do not cover the area with a tight or airtight dressing unless advised.

Common side effects
Mild burning, stinging, itching, irritation, dryness or redness may occur. Neomycin may cause an allergic skin rash. Prolonged or inappropriate use may cause skin thinning or changes in skin colour.

Precautions
This contains a potent steroid and should not be used for longer than recommended. Avoid use on the face, groin, skin folds, broken skin or large areas unless specifically prescribed. Do not use for an undiagnosed rash or acne. Stop using it and seek medical advice if the infection worsens, spreads, or causes severe irritation, swelling or breathing difficulty. Avoid use if there is a known allergy to any ingredient, including chlorhexidine.
