What is it used for?
Used for short-term relief of painful muscle and joint conditions associated with muscle stiffness or spasms, such as back pain and other musculoskeletal pain.

How does it work?
Aceclofenac reduces the production of substances that cause pain and inflammation. Thiocolchicoside acts as a muscle relaxant to help reduce painful muscle spasms.

How to take/use it
Use only as prescribed by a doctor. Take it with or after food and swallow it with water if it is supplied as an oral medicine. Do not take more than the prescribed amount or use it for longer than advised. Avoid driving or operating machinery if dizziness or drowsiness occurs.

Common side effects
Indigestion, stomach pain, nausea, diarrhoea, dizziness and drowsiness. Serious stomach irritation or bleeding can rarely occur.

Precautions
Tell the doctor about stomach ulcers or bleeding, kidney or liver disease, heart disease, high blood pressure, asthma triggered by painkillers, or a history of seizures. Avoid use during pregnancy, especially the later months, and during breastfeeding unless specifically prescribed. Avoid taking it with other painkillers such as ibuprofen or diclofenac unless advised by a doctor. Seek medical help for black stools, vomiting blood, severe rash, breathing difficulty or swelling.
