What is it used for?
Sildenafil 100 mg is used to treat erectile dysfunction (difficulty getting or keeping an erection firm enough for sexual activity).

How does it work?
It increases blood flow to the penis during sexual stimulation, helping produce an erection. It does not increase sexual desire and will not work without sexual stimulation.

How to take/use it
Take it exactly as prescribed by the doctor, usually before planned sexual activity. Swallow with water and do not take more than prescribed. Follow the product label or medical advice for timing and use.

Common side effects
Headache, flushing, indigestion, blocked or stuffy nose, dizziness and temporary visual changes.

Precautions
Do not use with nitrate medicines for chest pain or with riociguat, as this can cause a dangerous fall in blood pressure. Seek medical advice before use if there is serious heart disease, low blood pressure, recent stroke or heart attack, or if taking alpha-blockers or other medicines for erectile dysfunction. Get urgent medical help for an erection lasting more than 4 hours, sudden loss of vision or hearing, or chest pain during sexual activity.
