Hydroxyzine Hydrochloride – 25 mg

Description

Intarax-25 contains Hydroxyzine, a first-generation antihistamine with sedative, anxiolytic, anti-allergic, and antiemetic properties. It is used to relieve itching (pruritus), anxiety, tension, and for its calming effects.

Precautions

May cause drowsiness, dizziness, and sedation — avoid driving or operating machinery if affected.

Use with caution in elderly, patients with liver or kidney impairment, glaucoma, urinary retention, or respiratory depression.

Avoid concurrent use with other CNS depressants or alcohol.

Not recommended in pregnancy and breastfeeding unless clearly needed.

Use the lowest effective dose for the shortest duration.

Adverse Effects

Drowsiness, fatigue

Dry mouth, blurred vision

Headache, dizziness

Nausea or vomiting

Rare: confusion, hypotension, tremor, allergic skin reactions

Storage

Store at 20–25 °C (room temperature), in a cool, dry place.
Protect from light and moisture.
