What is it used for?
Hydroxyzine is an antihistamine used to relieve itching caused by allergies and skin conditions. It may also be prescribed for short-term relief of anxiety.

How does it work?
It blocks histamine, a chemical involved in allergic reactions and itching. It can also reduce activity in the brain, which may cause a calming and drowsy effect.

How to take/use it

Precautions
