What is it used for?
Used on the skin to treat scabies and lice infestations. The cetrimide component also provides antiseptic action.

How does it work?
Gamma benzene hexachloride kills scabies mites and lice by affecting their nervous system. Cetrimide helps reduce germs on the skin.

How to take/use it
For external use only. Apply exactly as directed on the product label or by a healthcare professional. Avoid the eyes, mouth, mucous membranes and broken or inflamed skin. Wash hands after use unless the hands are the treated area. Do not swallow.

Common side effects
Skin irritation, burning, itching, redness or dryness may occur. Stop use and seek medical help for severe irritation, dizziness, tremors, confusion or seizures.

Precautions
Use only when specifically advised, as excessive use or application to large areas can cause serious toxicity. Avoid use in infants and young children, during pregnancy or breastfeeding, or in people with a history of seizures unless prescribed by a healthcare professional. Keep away from children and avoid contact with the eyes.
