Mefenamic Acid – 250 mg

Dicyclomine Hydrochloride – 10 mg

Description

Intaspas is a combination analgesic-antispasmodic used to relieve abdominal cramps, menstrual pain, and visceral spasms.

Mefenamic acid is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that reduces inflammation and pain.

Dicyclomine is an anticholinergic (spasmolytic) that relaxes smooth muscles, reducing gut spasms and discomfort.

Precautions

Avoid in patients with peptic ulcer disease, GI bleeding, or severe liver/kidney dysfunction.

Use with caution in glaucoma, urinary retention, or myasthenia gravis.

May cause dizziness or sedation — avoid driving if affected.

Use during pregnancy or breastfeeding only if prescribed.

Take with food to minimize gastric upset.

Adverse Effects

Dizziness, drowsiness

Dry mouth, blurred vision

Nausea, vomiting, heartburn

Rare: allergic reactions, tachycardia
