Description:
Kemopraz-D Capsule is a combination of a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) and a prokinetic agent used to relieve symptoms of gastroesophageal reflux and related disorders.

Omeprazole inhibits the H⁺/K⁺-ATPase enzyme system in gastric parietal cells, suppressing gastric acid secretion and providing prolonged acid control.

Domperidone is a dopamine D₂ receptor antagonist that enhances gastrointestinal motility and accelerates gastric emptying, preventing reflux and nausea.

Warnings and Precautions:

For oral use only. Swallow the capsule whole; do not crush or chew.

Use with caution in hepatic impairment or renal dysfunction.

Domperidone may cause QT interval prolongation; avoid in patients with cardiac arrhythmias or when using other QT-prolonging drugs.

Long-term or high-dose Omeprazole use may cause hypomagnesemia, vitamin B₁₂ deficiency, or increased fracture risk.

Not recommended for children under 12 years unless prescribed.

Use during pregnancy and lactation only under medical supervision.

Adverse Effects:

Common: Headache, dry mouth, abdominal discomfort, nausea.

Occasional: Diarrhea, dizziness, fatigue.

Rare: Allergic skin reactions, QT prolongation, galactorrhea (with prolonged use of domperidone).

Storage:

Store below 25°C in a cool, dry place, protected from moisture and sunlight.

Keep capsules in the original blister pack until use.

Keep out of reach of children.
