Description:

Kemorose 10 Tablet contains Rosuvastatin 10 mg, a potent HMG-CoA reductase inhibitor (statin) used to lower cholesterol and triglyceride levels in the blood.
It helps reduce low-density lipoprotein (LDL) and total cholesterol, modestly increases high-density lipoprotein (HDL), and is widely prescribed for the prevention of heart attack, stroke, and atherosclerosis in high-risk patients.

Warnings & Precautions:

Monitor for muscle pain, tenderness, or weakness (risk of myopathy/rhabdomyolysis).

Liver function tests (LFTs) recommended before and during therapy.

Caution in patients with renal impairment, alcohol use, or hypothyroidism.

Avoid excessive alcohol consumption.

Discontinue therapy if severe muscle symptoms or elevated CK levels occur.

Adverse Effects:

Common: Headache, myalgia, constipation, abdominal pain, nausea.

Occasional: Dizziness, fatigue, rash.

Rare: Myopathy, rhabdomyolysis, hepatic dysfunction, renal impairment.
