Description:

Kemorose 20 Tablet contains Rosuvastatin 20 mg, a potent lipid-lowering agent from the statin class (HMG-CoA reductase inhibitors).
It effectively reduces low-density lipoprotein (LDL) cholesterol, total cholesterol, and triglycerides, while modestly increasing high-density lipoprotein (HDL) cholesterol, thereby helping prevent heart attack, stroke, and other cardiovascular events.

Warnings & Precautions:

Monitor for muscle pain or weakness (possible signs of myopathy or rhabdomyolysis).

Liver function tests (LFTs) should be performed before starting and periodically during treatment.

Use caution in patients with renal impairment, hypothyroidism, or alcohol use.

Avoid excessive alcohol consumption.

Stop therapy if marked CK elevation or myopathy symptoms occur.

Adverse Effects:

Common: Headache, myalgia, constipation, abdominal pain, nausea.

Occasional: Fatigue, dizziness, rash.

Rare but serious: Myopathy, rhabdomyolysis, liver enzyme elevation, renal dysfunction.
