Description:

Kemorose 40 Tablet contains Rosuvastatin 40 mg, a potent HMG-CoA reductase inhibitor (statin) that effectively lowers cholesterol and triglyceride levels in the blood.
It is primarily used in the management of dyslipidemia and for reducing the risk of cardiovascular events such as heart attack and stroke in high-risk patients.

Warnings & Precautions:

Monitor for muscle pain or weakness (risk of myopathy/rhabdomyolysis).

Use cautiously in patients with renal impairment, hypothyroidism, or alcohol abuse.

Liver function tests (LFTs) should be performed before and periodically during therapy.

Avoid excessive alcohol consumption.

Discontinue immediately if severe muscle symptoms or marked CK elevation occur.

Adverse Effects:

Common: Headache, myalgia, abdominal pain, constipation, nausea.

Occasional: Dizziness, fatigue, rash.

Rare but serious: Myopathy, rhabdomyolysis, hepatotoxicity, renal impairment.
