What is it used for?
This medicine is used to reduce the risk of heart attack, stroke and blood clots in people with coronary artery disease, including those recovering from a heart attack or undergoing angioplasty or stent treatment. It should be used only when prescribed by a doctor.

How does it work?
Rosuvastatin lowers harmful LDL cholesterol and helps reduce cholesterol build-up in blood vessels. Aspirin and clopidogrel reduce platelet clumping, helping prevent harmful blood clots.

How to take/use it
Take exactly as prescribed by the doctor. Swallow the tablet with water and do not stop taking it suddenly without medical advice, especially after a stent or heart attack. Do not take extra doses if one is missed; follow the prescribed instructions.

Common side effects
Easy bruising or bleeding, nosebleeds, indigestion, stomach discomfort, headache and muscle pain may occur.

Precautions
Tell the doctor about any history of stomach ulcer, bleeding disorder, liver or kidney disease, asthma triggered by painkillers, or muscle problems. Seek urgent medical help for heavy or unusual bleeding, black stools, vomiting blood, severe muscle pain or weakness, or dark urine. Inform the doctor or dentist before surgery or dental procedures. Avoid starting painkillers or blood-thinning medicines without medical advice. Do not use during pregnancy or breastfeeding unless specifically advised by a doctor.
