Composition:
Ketoconazole 2.00% w/v in a dermatological lotion base.

Description:
Keteen Lotion is a topical antifungal formulation used for treating dandruff, seborrheic dermatitis, and other superficial fungal infections of the scalp and skin. It works by inhibiting ergosterol synthesis in fungal cell membranes, thereby stopping fungal growth and relieving symptoms such as itching, redness, scaling, and flaking. Its smooth lotion base ensures easy absorption and localized action.

Precautions:
Use only externally and avoid contact with the eyes, mouth, or mucous membranes. Apply to clean and dry skin or scalp and wash hands before and after application. Do not use on broken or highly irritated skin unless advised by a physician. Discontinue use if irritation, increased redness, or worsening of infection occurs. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should use the product only under medical supervision.

Adverse Effects:
Mild burning, itching, redness, dryness, or local irritation may occur at the site of application. Rarely, allergic reactions such as rash or swelling may be observed.

Storage:
Store in a cool, dry place below 25°C and away from direct sunlight. Keep the bottle tightly closed after use and out of reach of children.
