Description:
Keteen Shampoo is an antifungal hair care formulation designed to treat dandruff, seborrheic dermatitis, and other scalp fungal infections. Ketoconazole inhibits the synthesis of ergosterol in fungal cell membranes, reducing fungal growth, flaking, itching, and redness. Its gentle shampoo base ensures effective cleansing while maintaining scalp hydration.
Precautions:
Use externally only and avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes. Apply to wet hair and scalp, leave for 3–5 minutes, and rinse thoroughly. Discontinue use if irritation or allergic reactions occur. Not recommended for broken or severely irritated scalp unless prescribed by a physician.
Adverse Effects:
Mild burning, itching, or redness at the scalp may occur. Rarely, allergic reactions such as rash or swelling may develop.
Storage:
Store in a cool, dry place below 25°C, away from direct sunlight. Keep the bottle tightly closed and out of reach of children.
