What is it used for?
Ketoconazole 2% is an antifungal medicine used for fungal infections of the skin or scalp. Depending on the formulation, it may also be used for dandruff and seborrhoeic dermatitis.

How does it work?
It blocks the growth of fungi by interfering with the formation of ergosterol, a substance fungi need to maintain their cell membranes.
