What is it used for?
Used on the skin to treat fungal infections accompanied by redness, itching or inflammation, such as ringworm and similar fungal rashes.

How does it work?
Ketoconazole stops the growth of fungi. Beclomethasone reduces redness, swelling and itching caused by skin inflammation.

How to take/use it
For external use only. Apply to the affected skin exactly as prescribed, usually after cleaning and drying the area. Wash hands before and after use, unless the hands are being treated. Avoid contact with the eyes, mouth and other mucous membranes. Do not cover the area tightly unless advised by a healthcare professional.

Common side effects
Mild burning, stinging, itching, irritation, dryness or redness at the application site. Prolonged or inappropriate use may cause skin thinning, stretch marks or changes in skin colour.

Precautions
Use only for the condition diagnosed by a healthcare professional, as the steroid may mask or worsen some infections. Do not use for longer than recommended. Avoid applying to large areas, broken skin, the face, skin folds or the genital area unless advised. Seek medical advice if the infection worsens, spreads or does not improve. Children, pregnant or breastfeeding women should use it only on medical advice.
