Ketosol Dt Tabs (10X1X15) Ketorolac Tromethamine 10Mg by Elder

What is it used for?
Ketorolac tromethamine is used for the short-term relief of moderate to severe acute pain, such as pain after surgery. It is not intended for long-term pain treatment.

How does it work?
It is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medicine (NSAID). It reduces the production of substances called prostaglandins that contribute to pain and inflammation.

How to take/use it
Take it only as prescribed and for the shortest time advised by the doctor. Swallow with water; taking it with food may help reduce stomach discomfort. Do not take more than prescribed or combine it with other painkillers such as ibuprofen, diclofenac or aspirin unless advised by a doctor.

Common side effects
Stomach pain or discomfort, indigestion, nausea, vomiting, headache, dizziness and diarrhoea.

Precautions
May cause stomach ulcers or bleeding and can affect kidney function. Avoid it or seek medical advice if there is a history of stomach ulcer or bleeding, kidney disease, heart failure, uncontrolled high blood pressure, asthma triggered by painkillers, or allergy to NSAIDs. Avoid during pregnancy unless specifically advised, especially from 20 weeks onward and during the third trimester. Seek urgent medical help for black stools, vomiting blood, severe stomach pain, breathing difficulty, swelling or reduced urination.
