What is it used for?
This combination is used to relieve productive (phlegmy) cough and chest congestion. It may also help ease wheezing or breathing difficulty caused by narrowed airways in some respiratory conditions.

How does it work?
Ambroxol helps thin and loosen mucus, while guaiphenesin helps clear mucus from the airways. Terbutaline relaxes the airway muscles to improve airflow.

How to take/use it
Use only in the dose and manner prescribed by the doctor. Do not take more or use it for longer than advised. If supplied as a liquid, measure each dose with the provided measuring device.

Common side effects
Nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, headache, dizziness, shakiness or tremor, muscle cramps, and fast or pounding heartbeat may occur.

Precautions
Use with medical advice if there is heart disease, high blood pressure, diabetes, an overactive thyroid, seizures, or glaucoma. Consult a doctor before use during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Seek medical advice if breathing difficulty worsens, severe palpitations occur, or the cough persists. Do not combine with other cough, cold, or bronchodilator medicines unless advised.
