What is it used for?
Used to relieve wet or productive cough with mucus and may help ease wheezing or breathing difficulty caused by narrowed airways in conditions such as bronchitis. It is not generally intended for a dry cough without mucus.

How does it work?
Ambroxol and guaiphenesin help loosen and thin mucus so it can be coughed out more easily. Terbutaline relaxes the muscles of the airways, helping improve airflow.

How to take/use it
Use only as directed by a doctor or according to the product label. Do not take more often or for longer than advised. The correct dose and duration depend on the person's age, symptoms and the product form.

Common side effects
Nausea, vomiting, stomach upset, diarrhoea, headache, dizziness, nervousness, trembling or a fast heartbeat may occur.

Precautions
Tell the doctor if there is heart disease, high blood pressure, diabetes, an overactive thyroid, a seizure disorder or an allergy to any ingredient. Use during pregnancy or breastfeeding only on medical advice. Seek medical attention if breathing difficulty becomes severe, wheezing worsens or symptoms do not improve.
