What is it used for?
Used for temporary relief of cough, blocked nose, runny nose and sneezing associated with common cold and similar upper-respiratory symptoms.

How does it work?
Dextromethorphan helps suppress the cough reflex. Phenylephrine reduces nasal swelling, while chlorpheniramine helps relieve runny nose and sneezing.

How to take/use it
Use only as directed on the product label or by a doctor or pharmacist. Shake the bottle well and measure the liquid with the supplied measuring device. Do not take it with other cough, cold or allergy medicines containing similar ingredients.

Common side effects
Sleepiness, dizziness, dry mouth, blurred vision, nausea and stomach upset. Palpitations or a rise in blood pressure may occur.

Precautions
May cause drowsiness—avoid driving and alcohol until its effects are known. Seek medical advice before use in high blood pressure, heart disease, glaucoma, thyroid disease, breathing problems or difficulty passing urine. Do not use with monoamine oxidase inhibitor medicines or within 14 days of stopping them. Consult a doctor before giving it to children, and seek medical help if the cough is severe, persistent or associated with breathing difficulty.
