Composition:
Each 5 ml of suspension contains:

Levocetirizine Dihydrochloride IP  2.5 mg,Montelukast Sodium IP  4 mg,Flavoured syrupy base  q.s.

Description:
L-Hist Mont Suspension is a dual-action antiallergic formulation combining Levocetirizine, a potent non-sedative H₁ antihistamine, and Montelukast, a leukotriene receptor antagonist. The combination provides effective relief from symptoms of allergic rhinitis, bronchial asthma, and other allergic respiratory conditions.

It works by blocking histamine (H₁) and leukotriene receptors, thereby reducing nasal congestion, sneezing, rhinorrhea, and bronchoconstriction.

Warnings and Precautions:

For oral use only.

Shake well before use.

Use with caution in patients with hepatic or renal impairment.

Not intended for acute asthma attacks; use only as maintenance or preventive therapy.

Avoid use in patients with hypersensitivity to any of the components.

May cause mild drowsiness; caution with driving or operating machinery.

Use during pregnancy or lactation only if clearly prescribed by a physician.

Adverse Effects:

Common: Headache, drowsiness, dry mouth, fatigue.

Occasional: Abdominal pain, diarrhea, dizziness.

Rare: Allergic reactions, mood or sleep disturbances, liver enzyme elevation.

Storage:

Store below 25°C in a cool, dry place, protected from direct light.

Keep the bottle tightly closed after each use.
