Lactulac Bulk Suspn (200Ml) Lactulose 70% With Fructo-Oligosaccharides & Polydextrose by Elder

What is it used for?
Used to relieve constipation by making stools softer and easier to pass.

How does it work?
Lactulose draws water into the bowel, softening the stool and helping bowel movements. Fructo-oligosaccharides and polydextrose act as dietary fibres that support bowel function.

How to take/use it
Take by mouth exactly as directed on the product label or by a doctor. It may be taken with water or mixed with a suitable drink. Drink adequate fluids unless a doctor has advised fluid restriction.

Common side effects
Gas, bloating, abdominal cramps, nausea and diarrhoea, especially if too much is taken.

Precautions
Do not use if there is suspected bowel blockage or severe unexplained abdominal pain. Consult a doctor if constipation persists, or if there is vomiting, blood in the stool or marked abdominal swelling. People with diabetes or those requiring long-term use should seek medical advice, as prolonged or excessive use may cause fluid or electrolyte imbalance.
