Lefuder 10 Tabs (10X10) Leflunomide 10Mg by Elder

What is it used for?
Leflunomide is used to treat rheumatoid arthritis and psoriatic arthritis. It helps reduce joint pain, swelling and stiffness and may slow damage to the joints.

How does it work?
It reduces the activity of certain immune cells involved in inflammation. This helps control the abnormal immune response that causes joint inflammation.

How to take/use it
Take it exactly as prescribed, usually at the same time each day. Swallow the tablet with water and do not stop treatment without medical advice. Regular blood tests may be needed to check the liver and blood cell counts.

Common side effects
Diarrhoea, nausea, headache, skin rash, hair loss and increased liver enzyme levels may occur. It can also increase the risk of infections.

Precautions
Do not use during pregnancy, and discuss pregnancy planning with a doctor because it may harm an unborn baby. Tell the doctor about liver disease, high blood pressure, blood disorders, immune-system problems or ongoing infections. Avoid or limit alcohol and do not start new medicines without medical advice. Seek medical help for yellowing of the skin or eyes, severe rash, breathing difficulty, persistent cough, fever or unusual bruising.
