Lefuder 20 Tabs (10X10) Leflunomide 20Mg by Elder

What is it used for?
Leflunomide is used to treat rheumatoid arthritis and psoriatic arthritis. It helps reduce joint pain, swelling and stiffness, and may slow worsening of the disease.

How does it work?
It reduces the activity of certain immune cells that cause inflammation in the joints. This helps control inflammation and autoimmune-related joint damage.

How to take/use it
Take it exactly as prescribed by the doctor, with or without food, and swallow the tablet with water. Take it regularly and do not stop treatment without medical advice. Regular blood tests may be needed during treatment.

Common side effects
Diarrhoea, nausea, stomach upset, headache, hair loss, skin rash, increased blood pressure and abnormal liver test results may occur. It can also increase the risk of infections.

Precautions
Do not use during pregnancy or breastfeeding unless specifically advised by a specialist. Women who could become pregnant should use reliable contraception. Tell the doctor about liver disease, kidney disease, high blood pressure, infections, blood disorders or nerve problems. Liver function and blood counts should be monitored. Avoid excessive alcohol and do not receive live vaccines unless advised. Seek medical advice promptly for yellowing of the skin, severe rash, breathing problems, persistent infection or unusual bleeding.
