LEVETECH AMP (Levetiracetam (100Mg/5Ml)

Composition:
Each ampoule contains Levetiracetam 100 mg/5 ml.

Description:
Levetiracetam Injection is an antiepileptic drug used for controlling seizures. It is indicated when rapid seizure management is required or when the patient cannot take oral medication. It acts by modulating neurotransmitter release and stabilising neuronal activity.

Side Effects:
Common side effects include drowsiness, dizziness, fatigue, headache, irritability, behavioural changes, and occasional injection site reactions.

Precautions:
Use with caution in renal impairment and dose adjustment may be required. Monitor patients for mood or behavioural changes. Use during pregnancy or breastfeeding should be based on physician advice. Avoid sudden discontinuation to prevent increased seizure frequency.

Storage:
Store below 25°C and protect from light. Keep out of reach of children.
