What is it used for?
Levocetirizine is used to relieve allergy symptoms such as sneezing, runny or blocked nose, itchy or watery eyes, and itching. It is also used for hives (urticaria) and related skin itching.

How does it work?
It blocks the action of histamine, a substance involved in allergic reactions. This helps reduce allergy symptoms and itching.

How to take/use it
Take the tablet exactly as directed by the doctor or pharmacist. Swallow it with water; it may generally be taken with or without food. Do not take more than recommended.

Common side effects
Sleepiness or drowsiness, tiredness, dry mouth, headache, and occasionally stomach discomfort may occur.

Precautions
