Lipider Cv 10 Caps (10X10) Atorvastatin 10 Mg +Clopidogreol 75 Mg by Elder

What is it used for?
This medicine is used to help prevent heart attack, stroke and other serious blood-vessel problems in people with cardiovascular disease, including some patients after a heart attack, stroke or coronary stent. It also lowers high cholesterol.

How does it work?
Atorvastatin lowers LDL (“bad”) cholesterol and helps reduce cholesterol buildup in blood vessels. Clopidogrel makes platelets less likely to stick together, helping prevent harmful blood clots.

How to take/use it
Take it exactly as prescribed, at the same time each day, with or without food. Swallow it with water and do not stop it or change the treatment duration without medical advice, especially after a stent or heart event.

Common side effects
Easy bruising or bleeding, nosebleeds, indigestion, diarrhoea, headache and muscle pain may occur.

Precautions
Tell the doctor about any history of bleeding, stomach ulcers, liver disease or muscle problems. Seek urgent medical help for severe or unusual bleeding, black stools, vomiting blood, or severe muscle pain or weakness. Inform the doctor or dentist before surgery or dental procedures. Avoid other medicines that increase bleeding risk unless advised. Do not use during pregnancy; consult a doctor before breastfeeding. Do not stop clopidogrel without medical advice.
