Lipider Ez 10 Tabs (10/10) (10X10) Atorvastatin 10 Mg + Ezitamibe 10 Mg by Elder

What is it used for?
Used to lower high cholesterol, especially LDL (“bad”) cholesterol, when diet and exercise alone are not enough. It may also help reduce the risk of heart attack and stroke in people at increased cardiovascular risk, as advised by a doctor.

How does it work?
Atorvastatin reduces cholesterol production in the liver. Ezetimibe reduces the absorption of cholesterol from the intestine. Together, they help lower blood cholesterol levels.

How to take/use it
Take exactly as prescribed by the doctor. Swallow the tablet with water and take it at the same time each day, with or without food. Continue the recommended cholesterol-lowering diet and exercise plan. Do not stop treatment without medical advice.

Common side effects
Muscle aches or pain, headache, nausea, diarrhoea, indigestion and mild increases in liver enzymes may occur.

Precautions
Tell the doctor about liver disease, thyroid problems, kidney problems, heavy alcohol use or any history of muscle-related side effects from cholesterol medicines. Seek medical advice promptly for unexplained muscle pain, tenderness or weakness, especially with fever or dark urine. Liver function tests may be needed. It should not be used during pregnancy or breastfeeding; inform the doctor if planning pregnancy. Tell the doctor or pharmacist about all other medicines, including supplements, because some medicines can increase the risk of side effects.
