Description:
Livorb-UD 150 Tablet contains Ursodeoxycholic Acid (UDCA), a bile acid that improves liver function and promotes the dissolution of cholesterol gallstones. It acts by reducing the cholesterol content of bile and bile stones, protecting hepatocytes against bile acid-induced injury, and enhancing bile flow.

Warnings and Precautions:

For oral use only.

Therapy should be initiated and monitored by a physician experienced in liver or biliary disorders.

Contraindicated in acute cholecystitis, complete biliary obstruction, or calcified gallstones.

Use with caution in severe hepatic or renal impairment.

Periodic monitoring of liver function tests and ultrasound is recommended.

Use during pregnancy and lactation only if clearly indicated.

Maintain a low-cholesterol diet during therapy for optimal results.

Adverse Effects:

Common: Diarrhea, soft stools, nausea, abdominal pain.

Occasional: Pruritus, skin rash, mild elevation in liver enzymes.

Rare: Gallstone calcification, hypersensitivity reactions.

Storage:

Store below 25°C in a cool, dry place, protected from light and moisture.

Keep tablets in the original blister pack until use.
