Locasamid 100 Tabs (10X10) Locasamide 100Mg by Elder

What is it used for?
Locasamide (lacosamide) 100 mg is used to control seizures in epilepsy, including focal-onset seizures. It is usually taken regularly as prescribed by a doctor.

How does it work?
It helps reduce abnormal electrical activity in the brain by affecting voltage-sensitive sodium channels in nerve cells.

How to take/use it
Take it exactly as prescribed, at the same times each day, with or without food. Swallow the tablet with water. Do not stop taking it suddenly unless advised by a doctor.

Common side effects
Dizziness, sleepiness, headache, nausea, vomiting, blurred or double vision, tiredness, and problems with balance or coordination.

Precautions
Use only under medical supervision. Dizziness and sleepiness may affect driving or operating machinery. Tell the doctor about heart rhythm or conduction problems, kidney or liver disease, pregnancy, or other medicines being taken. Seek medical help for fainting, a fast or irregular heartbeat, a serious allergic reaction, or new or worsening thoughts of self-harm.
