Composition:
Lomoh 40 Injection contains Enoxaparin Sodium equivalent to Enoxaparin 40 mg in a prefilled syringe for subcutaneous administration.
Description:
Lomoh 40 Injection is a low molecular weight heparin used for the prevention and treatment of thromboembolic disorders. It works by inhibiting factor Xa and thrombin activity, thereby preventing the formation and extension of blood clots. It is commonly indicated for deep vein thrombosis, pulmonary embolism, unstable angina, myocardial infarction, and for prophylaxis of thrombosis in patients undergoing surgery or prolonged immobilization.
Precautions:
The injection should be administered under medical supervision. Caution is required in patients with bleeding disorders, recent surgery, severe renal impairment, uncontrolled hypertension, or a history of heparin-induced thrombocytopenia. Regular monitoring of platelet count and signs of bleeding is recommended. Intramuscular administration should be avoided. Use during pregnancy or breastfeeding should be based on medical advice.
Adverse Effects:
Common adverse effects include bleeding, bruising, injection site pain, redness, or hematoma. Thrombocytopenia, anemia, or elevated liver enzymes may occur. Rarely, severe bleeding, allergic reactions, or osteoporosis with long-term use have been reported.
