What is it used for?
Used to relieve pain, swelling and inflammation, especially in muscle, joint and arthritis-related conditions. It may also help reduce fever.

How does it work?
Aceclofenac reduces the substances that cause pain and inflammation. Paracetamol helps relieve pain and lower fever.

How to take/use it
Take only as prescribed by the doctor. Take it with or after food and swallow with water. Do not take more than the prescribed amount, or combine it with other medicines containing paracetamol or painkillers such as ibuprofen, diclofenac or aspirin unless advised.

Common side effects
Indigestion, stomach pain, nausea, diarrhoea, dizziness and skin rash may occur.

Precautions
Tell the doctor if there is a history of stomach ulcer or bleeding, liver or kidney disease, heart disease, high blood pressure, asthma triggered by painkillers, or an allergy to painkillers. Avoid alcohol and other paracetamol-containing products. Seek medical help for black stools, vomiting blood, severe rash, breathing difficulty or yellowing of the skin or eyes. Use during pregnancy, especially late pregnancy, only if specifically prescribed.
