What is it used for?
Mecobalamin is a form of vitamin B12 used to prevent or treat vitamin B12 deficiency. It may help manage vitamin B12 deficiency-related megaloblastic anaemia and nerve problems such as tingling or numbness.

How does it work?
It supplies vitamin B12, which is needed for healthy red blood cell formation and normal nerve function.

How to take/use it
Take or use it only as directed by a doctor or according to the product label. The dose, route and treatment duration depend on the severity of deficiency and the product form. Do not self-treat unexplained anaemia, numbness or weakness without medical advice.

Common side effects
Nausea, stomach upset, diarrhoea, headache or skin rash may occur. Seek urgent medical help for signs of a severe allergic reaction.
