MEROLINK-250 MG Injection (Meropenem 250Mg)

Composition:
Each vial contains Meropenem 250 mg.

Description:
Meropenem is a broad-spectrum carbapenem antibiotic used for treating moderate to severe bacterial infections, including respiratory, urinary, intra-abdominal, skin and systemic infections. It works by inhibiting bacterial cell wall synthesis, leading to rapid bactericidal action.

Precautions:
Use with caution in patients with renal impairment; dosage adjustment may be required. Check for any history of allergy to carbapenems, penicillins or β-lactam antibiotics. Use during pregnancy and breastfeeding only if clearly necessary. Monitor for neurological symptoms such as seizures in vulnerable patients.

Adverse Effects:
Possible effects include nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, headache, rash, injection-site pain, elevated liver enzymes and rare allergic reactions.

Storage:
Store below 25°C in a cool and dry place, protected from light. Use reconstituted solution immediately or according to manufacturer directions.
