What is it used for?
Zinc oxide sunscreen is used to protect the skin from harmful ultraviolet (UV) rays and help prevent sunburn and sun-related skin damage.

How does it work?
It forms a mineral barrier on the skin that reflects and scatters UV rays, reducing their exposure to the skin.

How to take/use it
For external use only. Apply evenly to all exposed skin before sun exposure, following the product label. Reapply as directed, especially after swimming, sweating or towel drying. Use protective clothing and avoid prolonged direct sun exposure.

Common side effects
Mild skin irritation, redness, dryness or itching may occur. Serious allergic reactions are uncommon.

Precautions
Avoid contact with the eyes. Stop use if severe irritation or an allergic reaction occurs. Do not apply to significantly damaged skin unless advised by a healthcare professional. Sunscreen does not provide complete protection from UV rays.
