Minotech 100 (10 Ml) Minocycline 100 Mg By Protech

What is it used for?
Minocycline is an antibiotic used to treat certain bacterial infections. It is also commonly prescribed for acne when a healthcare professional considers an oral antibiotic appropriate. It does not work for viral infections such as colds or flu.

How does it work?
It stops susceptible bacteria from making proteins needed for their growth and survival.

How to take/use it
Take it only as prescribed and complete the prescribed course unless a healthcare professional advises otherwise. Swallow with plenty of water. Follow medical advice about separating it from antacids or supplements containing iron, calcium or magnesium.

Common side effects
Nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, headache, dizziness and increased sensitivity to sunlight may occur.

Precautions
Tell the prescriber if pregnant, planning pregnancy, breastfeeding, under 8 years of age, or if there is liver disease. Use sun protection and avoid excessive sunlight. Seek medical help for severe headache or vision changes, a serious skin rash, breathing difficulty, yellowing of the skin or eyes, or severe or persistent diarrhoea.
