What is it used for?
Used to relieve mild to moderate pain and reduce fever.

How does it work?
Mefenamic acid reduces the production of substances that cause pain, inflammation and fever. Paracetamol also helps reduce pain and fever through a different action.

How to take/use it
Take by mouth only as directed by a doctor or the product label. Shake the suspension well before use and measure it with an accurate measuring device. Do not take it with other medicines containing paracetamol or another NSAID painkiller unless advised by a healthcare professional.

Common side effects
Stomach pain, indigestion, nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea or dizziness may occur.

Precautions
Use in children only according to medical advice or the recommended age and weight-based instructions. Avoid or seek medical advice before use if there is a history of stomach ulcer or bleeding, kidney or liver disease, asthma triggered by painkillers, or allergy to NSAIDs. Avoid use during the last three months of pregnancy unless specifically prescribed. Seek urgent medical help for breathing difficulty, facial swelling, severe skin rash, black stools, vomiting blood, or yellowing of the skin or eyes.
