Mometason F Cream (15Gm) Mometasone 0.1%+Fusidic Acid 0.2% by Elder

What is it used for?
Used for inflamed skin conditions, such as infected eczema or dermatitis, where there is also a bacterial skin infection. It should be used only when prescribed by a doctor.

How does it work?
Mometasone reduces skin inflammation, redness and itching. Fusidic acid is an antibiotic that helps control susceptible bacterial infections on the skin.

How to take/use it
Apply a thin layer to the affected skin exactly as prescribed. Wash hands before and after application, unless the hands are being treated. For external use only; avoid contact with the eyes, mouth and inside of the nose. Do not cover the area with a dressing unless advised by a doctor.

Common side effects
Mild burning, stinging, itching, irritation, dryness or redness at the application site. Prolonged or inappropriate use may cause skin thinning, stretch marks or changes in skin colour.

Precautions
Do not use on untreated fungal or viral skin infections, acne or rosacea unless specifically advised. Avoid prolonged use and use on the face, skin folds, groin or in children unless directed by a doctor. Stop use and seek medical advice if the skin infection worsens, spreads or does not improve. Avoid using more than prescribed, as fusidic acid resistance and steroid-related skin problems may occur.
