Montas-Fx Tab (Montelukast 10 mg + Fexofenadine Hydrochloride 120 mg)

Composition:

Each film-coated tablet contains:

Montelukast Sodium – 10 mg, Fexofenadine Hydrochloride – 120 mg, Excipients q.s.

Description:

Montas-Fx Tablet is an antiallergic combination medication that helps control symptoms of allergic rhinitis and related respiratory allergies.

Precautions:

Not recommended for children below the advised age group unless prescribed.

Avoid alcohol as it may increase drowsiness (rare with fexofenadine).

Use cautiously in patients with severe liver impairment.

Inform your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

Do not drive if you feel dizzy or unusually sleepy.

Avoid taking antacids containing aluminum or magnesium within 2 hours of taking the tablet (reduces fexofenadine absorption).

Do not use for acute asthma attacks.

Patients with psychiatric history should use montelukast cautiously (rare mood changes may occur).

Avoid combining with other antihistamines unless advised.

Stop use if unusual behavioral changes, agitation, or allergic reaction occur.

Adverse Effects:

Common: Headache, Dry mouth, Stomach pain, Nausea, Fatigue, Drowsiness (mild, uncommon)

Less Common: Skin rash, Palpitations, Dizziness

Storage:

Store below 25–30°C, in a cool and dry place.

Protect from moisture and direct sunlight.

Keep out of reach of children.
