Montas-L Syp (Montelukast 4 mg + Levocetirizine 2.5 mg)

Composition:

Each 5 ml contains:

Montelukast Sodium – 4 mg, Levocetirizine Dihydrochloride – 2.5 mg, Flavoured syrup base q.s.

Description:

Montas-L Syrup is a combination of an antihistamine and leukotriene receptor antagonist used for the relief of allergic conditions:

Montelukast blocks leukotrienes, reducing airway inflammation, bronchoconstriction, and mucus production.

Levocetirizine is a selective H1 receptor antagonist that relieves sneezing, runny nose, itching, and watery eyes.
Together, they provide symptomatic relief in allergic rhinitis, seasonal allergies, and mild asthma.

Precautions:

For oral use only.

Use cautiously in patients with renal or hepatic impairment.

Avoid use in patients with known hypersensitivity to levocetirizine, cetirizine, or montelukast.

May cause drowsiness; avoid driving or operating machinery.

Use in pregnancy and lactation only if prescribed.

Not intended for acute asthma attacks.

Keep out of reach of children.

Adverse Effects:

Headache, drowsiness, dizziness

Dry mouth

Abdominal discomfort, nausea

Rare: hypersensitivity reactions, mood changes, sleep disturbances

Storage:

Store below 25–30°C, in a cool and dry place, protected from light.
Keep the bottle tightly closed and out of reach of children.
