What is it used for?
Used to relieve symptoms of allergies such as sneezing, runny or blocked nose, itchy nose or throat, and watery or itchy eyes. It may also be prescribed as an add-on treatment for certain breathing problems related to asthma, but it does not provide quick relief during an asthma attack.

How does it work?
Montelukast blocks chemicals involved in airway inflammation and allergy symptoms. Levocetirizine is an antihistamine that reduces the effects of histamine, helping relieve common allergy symptoms.

How to take/use it
Use only as directed by the doctor. Measure the liquid with the provided measuring device and do not exceed the prescribed amount. Do not use it as a rescue medicine for sudden breathing difficulty.

Common side effects
Sleepiness or tiredness, headache, dry mouth, stomach pain, nausea, or diarrhoea may occur.

Precautions
May cause drowsiness; avoid activities requiring alertness if affected. Tell the doctor about kidney problems or other medicines being used. Seek medical advice if there are mood or behaviour changes, unusual dreams, agitation, or thoughts of self-harm. Seek urgent help for severe breathing difficulty or an allergic reaction.
